For cooks
Open Recipe sites in the sidebar and type the address of a site you cook from, like budgetbytes.com. Its newest recipes show up on that page, at the top of Recipes, and on your dashboard under From your sites. Tap Save to add one to your recipes with its ingredients and steps. Tap the photo or title to read it on the site.
Search by name, site or ingredient, and narrow the list by site, time, course or cuisine. Sort by Uses my pantry to see what you can make now, or turn on Fits our household to leave out recipes with ingredients you've excluded. The hide button takes a recipe out of the list. The Sites button lists the sites you follow, where you can add or unfollow one.
Sites are checked every few hours. A household can follow up to 30. Saving counts toward your plan's recipe limit, the same as importing a link. Your AI assistant can do the same with the agent tools.
For site owners
Requests come from MealPlanVault/1.0. We read the RSS or Atom feed you publish, or your sitemap when there is no feed, and each new post's schema.org Recipe markup. We keep the title, a short summary, the photo link, total time and date. Every card links to your post, and photos load from your site.
We read robots.txt before every request and follow the group for MealPlanVault, or * if there isn't one. To opt out:

A recipe is only copied in full when a person saves it to their own private recipe box. Questions go to our support page.
